Treatments

Facial Veins
The small superficial red, purple or blue veins which appear most often on face and legs are called thread veins (or telangectasia). DermaVida has two different light based treatments to produce best results.  Short wavelength intense pulsed light (IPL) to target superficial thread veins and rosacea and long-pulsed Nd-Yag lasers to treat superficial and deep red, purple or blue veins.

Leg Veins
These are very common especially among women at all ages for a variety of reasons.  Thread veins and reticular veins can be treated at DermaVida by a combination of intense pulsed light (IPL) and long-pulsed Nd-Yag laser.

Microscleratherapy - new
What is microscleratherapy? It is a treatment which involves the injection of a substance caller Sclerovein, which causes irritation of the inner wall of the thread vein.  This then eventually leads to the walls sticking together due to fibrosis and reduces the appearance of the thread veins on the skin.

It is a course of treatments, as it is not possible to treat more than 6 veins at each sitting and the treatment will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Initial consultation is £20, then thecost of each treatment starts from £200 per sitting, subsequent treatments can be carried out at 8 week intervals.
